Ferial Day: The Spendor of the Ordinary

Most of the days during the liturgical year are ferial days. The term “ferial” pertains to those weekdays that have no assigned special feast. Of course, somewhere in the world there is an assigned feast for every particular day. Many like to celebrate combining the current universal calendar with the old or region calendar. The challenge is that if we are always feasting, what we do when we actually need to celebrate a solemnity? Maybe we can sanctify the day by just living it in his presence.
